CruzinPort is the 2009 brain child of Harold & Sheri Butler who thought there must be more to Cruise Night.

Harold spent countless hours and dollars restoring his 1970 Corvette and was not satisfied polishing her up, driving her to an event and then just sitting there in a lawn chair describing her to passers-by.
    No, there must be more! So he approached the City of Port Jervis Officials with an idea - a Cruise Night, a real Cruise Night!!!
What if​ - Street Rods, Hot Rods, Custom Cars, Custom Trucks and Motorcycles were allowed to cruise up and down the strip like we used to?
What if​ - We could talk the local merchants into staying open late on the weakest retail night of the week?
What if ​- We brought in a live DJ and set him up right in the middle of the street?
What if​ - We could talk the local businesses into sponsoring trophies every night?
Well... It Happened !!! On one night in September of 2009 we had over 300 Cars, 30 Motorcycles, 4 Antique Fire Trucks, 7 Antique Trains, 23 Trophies.

We were also written up in a feature article in Street Rodder Magazine in 2010 and 2013.
With Cars, Trucks and Bikes cruising up and down Jersey Av. all night it truly is a night from long ago.
